Within The Benefice of the Huntspills we run fundraising events to help support various charities and our Churches and Church Halls. Both of our Churches holds a variety of social events with the aim of bringing the community together as well as raising much needed funds.

All Saints Community Group East Huntspill

Friends of St Peter and All Hallows West Huntspill
The Friends is a secular group of people who care about the future of the Church of St Peter and All Hallows in the Somerset village of West Huntspill. We are not part of the Church but value it as a historic building and community resource.
Our purpose is to involve the wider community in supporting the PCC in conserving the fabric of the Church building by raising funds through membership and by holding a variety of fund raising events Friends of St Peter and All Hallows Church
Fundraising
Easyfundraising turns your everyday online shopping into free donations for your favourite church.
How? Just start your online shopping first at easyfundraising, register to say which Church you would like donations to go to and then shop as normal. Retailers John Lewis, M&S, Argos, Amazon, Tesco, Morrisons, ASDA, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Iceland, Ocado and lots more will then make a small donation to say “thank you”.

Easyfundraising St Peter and All Hallows
All Saints Church Hall, East Huntspill
Did you know that you can hire East Huntspill Church Hall for £25 per session? This includes heating and use of the kitchen. Ideal for children’s parties, family gatherings and other social events. Regular users £17.50 per session.

Balliol Hall, West Huntspill
The Hall is available for hire to members of the public and is a fantastic venue for events and occasions, such as parties, fund raising events, meetings, wedding receptions, indoor sports, clubs etc.
Its position right next to the Church makes it particularly convenient for refreshments before or after events at the Church.
There are two function rooms, the Main Hall and the School Room, as well as modern kitchen facilities.

Bell Ringers
St. Peter and All Hallows, West Huntspill Ringing Band meets regularly to ring: 10.45 – 11.15am (most Sundays)
We also hold practices on Mondays from 7.30 pm till 9.00 (though wise to contact Richard beforehand).
On the first and third Monday in the month we meet at Pawlett
On the second Monday we meet at West Huntspill
On the fourth Monday we meet at Highbridge

Flowers
Our flower arrangers ensure the church is appropriately decorated to support regular worship and to enhance festivals such as Easter, Harvest and Christmas.
They are also able to provide wedding flowers, subject to availability.

Singing
Like singing? The Songs of Praise service might be for you. The third Sunday of each month at 3pm All Saints Church East Huntspill.
At St Peter and All Hallows Church West Huntspill there are occasional singing sessions where people gather to sing hymns for future services.
Do you enjoy singing with a group, new songs, old songs, neglected songs?
Singing is good for relaxation, health and general well-being, so why not come along and join us.
Community Gatherings
Daily 10am-4pm, Huntspill Hub Honesty Café, West Huntspill
Open daily 10am – 4pm in St Peter & All Hallows Church, West Huntspill.
If you are on a walk to/from the coastal path or just wondering through our beautiful Churchyard, why not pop in to the Huntspill Hub Honesty Café and make yourself a coffee or tea.
All that we ask is that you wash-up your cup and leave it clean and tidy.
Any donation would be welcome.

Why not come along Monday between 10.30-12 noon and enjoy a cuppa and homemade cake at the Huntspill Hub in St Peter & All Hallows Church, West Huntspill and meet a friend or two.

Cake Sale every 3rd Saturday of the month at East Huntspill Church Hall.
Come along for a scrumptious homemade cake or two.
Available 10:30 onwards but the early bird catches the best cakes!
Fairtrade
At both churches we support and promote Fairtrade goods.
We are committed to use Fairtrade tea and coffee for all our meetings for which he have responsibility.
Moving forward, using other Fairtrade products and promoting Fairtrade during Fairtrade Fortnight and during yearly events, worship and other activities where possible.
